IP Fabric’s CLI-based infrastructure SSH discovery mechanism performs a lightweight and secure interaction based on a seed device and read-only credentials. It looks for known neighbors, collects detailed network state information from every discovered device, and computes cross-technology dependencies to create a complete model of your cloud and network infrastructure.  

IP Fabric discovers all supported IP-based active network devices, such as switches, routers, firewalls, load-balancers, WAN concentrators, wireless controllers, and wireless access-points.
